Step 1: View available pets online
Begin the process of finding your forever best friend by viewing our Available animals and finding a furball you're interested in adopting.
Step 2: Select the animal you're interested in adopting
Once you've selected the animal thats caught your attention you can select the 'Apply for adoption' button located in their description box or simply follow this link to the adoption application for cats or dogs.
Please note: Clicking "Adopt Me" does not place a "hold" on an animal or guarantee an adoption.
Step 3: Schedule your virtual home visit
Scheduling the virtual home visit is nearly the last step in our adoption process. The home visit is intended to support the adoptive family and to ensure that this will be the right match. This step is also necessary to ensure the animals will be kept in a safe environment while you are away at work.
Step 4: Schedule your Meet and Greet!
Now for the fun part! Since we are a completely foster based rescue we do NOT have a central viewing facility for our animals. Instead we will be working closely with your intended adoptees, foster parents to schedule your first meeting! Please be patient as this does require some time, but will take no longer than 5 days to get sorted. For the meet and greets we do require you to bring every person who lives at your residence and any current dogs for a meet and greet. We do not require cats to be present at meet and greets and can provide further insight into our process when there is a cat in a potential adopter’s home upon request. Since this visit will most likely determine if you leave with your new pet we do require that you bring a collar and leash for your new furball. If there is no coordination for a meet and greet within 24 hours, we will move on to the next applicant, so please diligently check your email once you have applied for a dog with us. Meet and greets must be held within 5 days of sending the email to keep our adoptions process timely. If you are unable to accommodate this timeline, please let us know on your application or ASAP. In some cases where a dog has multiple great applications, we will host a parallel meet and greet with another applicant to see who the dog has a better connection with. We do reserve the right to turn away applicants at any time if it is in the dog’s best interest.

What does the adoption fee include?
Our furballs go through a series of vet visits before becoming available for adoption. We have partnered with local vets to help ensure the health and safety of our animals. Services include, but are not limited too, wellness checks, DHPP vaccines series, dewormer, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, microchip with lifetime registration, and spay and neuter.
We also cover treatment of any pre-existing conditions and do whatever it takes to get them healthy so that they are ready to be adopted and enter into a loving home. Once the adoption is completed any additional medical care is at the responsibility of the adopter.
